I donated $15 in support of this campaign.
We're finishing up our latest build project, but instead of working on-site, we're moving our newest home to Corning—by truck! We will be shipping our latest build project from its construction site in Coopers Plains to Hamilton St. in Corning. That's 6.9 miles, or 12,144 yards to relocate such a big house!
We are fortunate that this year, we could partner with GST BOCES and the students of the Building Construction program. They put in a great deal of time and effort in support of our organization, and we can't thank them enough for their contribution.
But this project will take a bit more…
Can you sponsor our home and help us move an entire house from our build site to its new location? We want to raise $12,144—one dollar for every yard—which will help us ensure that more local, hardworking families in Steuben County can afford a decent place to live. Every donation will provide a place to call home for local families, and make much-needed repairs available to current homeowners facing critical or emergency needs.
Last year, Steuben County Habitat for Humanity was able to build and rehabilitate 13 homes in our community. From new house construction to rehabs, from placing deserving families in affordable homes to adapting existing homes to accommodate special needs, your donations make what we do possible.
